The main body of the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO) was completed today.
On November 20th, Jinshi data reported that today, with the completion of the final installation of the photomultiplier tube module, the main body of the Guangdong Jiangmen neutrino experiment detector has been completed. The Jiangmen Neutrino Experiment Large Science Facility is a giant laboratory built by the research team after years of construction 700 meters underground in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province. Using this deep underground large-scale scientific facility, scientists will capture and detect the oldest and most primitive elementary particles in the universe, neutrinos. In the future, researchers can better understand the universe and the material world by capturing neutrinos through the Jiangmen neutrino experiment detector and conducting research on them.
