The Polygon network is experiencing a final confirmation latency issue of 10-15 minutes, and the team is actively working on a fix.

According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on September 10, the Polygon status page disclosed that the Polygon network is experiencing a temporary issue with consensus finality latency. Some nodes are facing issues affecting block finality, resulting in delays in final confirmation. However, the blockchain is still operating normally, blocks are continuously being produced, and checkpoint finality is functioning as expected within the normal 15-minute timeframe.

The team has stated that a fix has been identified and is being rolled out to all validators and service providers. Previously, Bor/Erigon experienced a temporary interruption, causing a latency in final confirmations. Although the Polygon Blockchain remains operational, users may encounter interruptions when accessing various applications due to RPC issues.

The team is currently working actively with RPC providers to accelerate problem resolution. Restarting nodes has solved issues for many validators and RPC providers, while a few providers need to roll back to the last finalized Block and resynchronize.
